# How do I charge the Rufus Scan2 wearable barcode scanner?

**Charging the Scan2 Module:**

Place the Scan2 module on the Scan2 charge base with the bottom of the module facing away from the charger as shown in the video. 

A red light will shine indicating the Scan2 is charging ill shut off when the battery level reaches 100%. 

**Charging the Scan2 Swappable Battery:**

Place the Scan2 battery in the back slot of the charge base as shown in the video above. 

A red light will indicate charging and will shut off when the battery level reaches 100%.
